Your ink is now a few days old and youve gotten into the aftercare regime. How do you go about applying the goo, ad, bacitracin or whatever you use? Do you thoroughly wash your hands prior to putting the goo onto it? Do you wash your hands and then touch a different surface thereby contaminating the clean hands? How bout your clients? Do your aftercare instructions point out that whenever applying a healing agent that they should wash hands before and after application to ensure the cleanest possible environment?
Its just a thought but I wonder how many people have gotten new ink and gone out partying straight after and initiated their aftercare in the bathroom of a Pub or Bar not having properly cleaned whatever is getting ready to come into contact with their brand spankin ass new open wound.....OR even if they did apply the healing agent properly in said bathroom, then washed their hands, returned out having held firmly the door handle (which we all know that the door handles to the washrooms are clean and free of contaminants right.....) exposed their new ink to show friends, and rubbed a hand or finger across the surface in an effort to smooth something out or adjust the healing agent.
Maybe its just me......
