sorry if this is a faux pas, posting shit about eikon on here, but NJ doesnt sell thermofaxes so i thought it would be okay. Eikon sells 2 different thermofaxes. one is $1000 and the other is $1500. the expensive on is bigger and heavier and thats the only difference i can find.

any product reviews would be awesome

I prefer a DM printer, cheaper and not expensive to repair

bingo JJ,

Good part with em is you can scan all your line art and shit into your PC (or create you own in PS also) enlarge or reduce to suit and print em.

you remove the carriage sheet from your transfer sheet (if it has one) and run the stencil sheet through the printer. (same as you would through a TF). With DM's you dont need thermal transfer sheets either, standard ones are sufficient

If it prints the test page i would say it works ok,some of them can be a bitch to figure out though. You may need a different driver for it,i have an older okidata that would run sometimes and other times not so i did a google search to find out what driver to use for my model of printer on windows xp,and found out that mine will work best with the driver for the printer that you have,so check for the driver who knows it may work perfect with one from another maker like mine does. It's some screwy shit, but hell it works great off that driver so give it a shot,or go to your printer properties and try different settings, that may work also.

JJ,

go into your printers folder and select properties on the printer, click on its preferences and then advanced, set the DPI as high as it will let you.
Take it your runing XP?
In you photoshop program you should be able to select the printer and run a sheet through from there.
Most DM's run the same way
